The key benefit of the CDM180's flattened frame is that it accommodates a widescreen 160 x 128 display. The advantages of such a display become clear when you take a picture or video with the VGA (640 x 480) camera unit, which is housed in the top of the device. Instead of having to hold the phone sideways, you can view your subjects as you would on a dedicated digital camera, making framing your shots much easier. A wider screen also makes viewing menus and numbers easier. Plus, gaming is way more fun with more screen real estate. A smaller secondary color LCD display on the back of the cover displays incoming call information, network signal strength, and more. The phone is BREW enabled, meaning it supports games written on the BREW platform; many games are available via the Get It Now service.
